Pedestrian killed on Augusta Hwy.

Santiago Mendez Molta, 44, of Pelion was killed yesterday as he was crossing the 2800 block of Augusta Highway in Lexington.
Molta was struck by a motor vehicle around 4:45 p.m. Nov. 20, and was pronounced dead at the scene due to his injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, who was not injured, stopped at the scene to render aid.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
