Ashley Hunter, spokeswoman for the City of Cayce made an announcement, regarding the Cayce Riverwalk, Friday

“There are many things that we love about our city,” she said. “The people, the low cost of living, our neighborhoods, our quality of life and our Cayce businesses just to name a few.”

One of the things Cayce is known for is more than 12 miles of riverside path connectivity from the Cayce Riverwalk to the end of the Timmerman Trail.

“We are really excited to tell you that the Cayce Riverwalk Boardwalk construction project (Phase 2 – between the train trestle and Kelley Jones Park) has been completed,” Hunter said, “and will be open Saturday morning.”

Hunter thanked City of Cayce staff, the Landplan Group and 3D Dirtworks for making sure the important project was completed on time for the citizens of Cayce to enjoy.
