Pelion High School cross country and track and field coach, Mark Bedenbaugh, was honored with a special gift at the state championship track and field meet at Spring Valley High School. He received his South Carolina Track and Cross Country Coaches Association Hall of Fame recipient ring. Coach Bedenbaugh was inducted into the SCTCCA Hall of Fame in 2011 but only recently did the members begin receiving rings for this honor. Pelion High is honored to have such a legend coaching student athletes and appreciates all of the dedication Coach Bedenbaugh gives each and every day in the classroom and on the field.
