SC covid-19 death report falls to 13

None of the deaths were in Lexington County

Of 13 SC covid-19 deaths reported today, none were in Lexington County.

1 reported Richland County death occurred a week ago.

The Department of Health and Environmental Control today announced:

- 420 new confirmed cases and 30 new probable cases.

- 13 additional deaths.

Only 2 of the reported deaths occurred Saturday.

The rest occured earlier and reported yesterday.

Confirmed cases to date are 134,494, probable cases 3,214, confirmed deaths 3,028 and 171 probable deaths.

Who Should Get Tested?
If you are out and about in the community, around others, or not able to socially distance or wear a mask, DHEC recommends you get tested at least once a month.

Testing in South Carolina
As of Saturday, 1,229,227 tests have been conducted in the state.
4,566 individual test results were reported Saturday.

Of those, the percent positive was 9.2% virus infected.

Tha means 90.8% tested negative and are uninfected.
