Sen. Graham sticks with former President Trump

He says Nikki Haley is wrong

Nikki Haley and Lindsey Graham may agree on many things but not on Donald Trump.
The former Lexington resident and SC governor says President Trump is politically finished.
“I think he’s going to find himself further and further isolated,” she said.
“His business is suffering. He’s lost any sort of political viability.
"He’s lost his social media, which meant the world to him. I think he’s lost the things that really could have kept him moving.”
But Sen. Graham says Haley is wrong about Trump's political influence and was wong to criticize him.
Haley, who served as Trump's UN ambassdor, is expected to become a Republican Presidential candidate in 2024.
“He let us down,” Haley said an interview published by online Politico.
“He went down a path he shouldn’t have, and we shouldn’t have followed him, and we shouldn’t have listened to him. And we can’t let that ever happen again.”
Haley was referring to the Jan. 6 riot at the US Capitol for which Trump was impeached by House Democrats but aquitted by the Senate.
“Nikki’s wrong about President Trump,” Graham told Fox News host Chris Wallace Sunday.
Graham said Republicans can take back the House and Senate majorities in the midterm elections in 2022 with Trump's help.
He said he plans to visit the former president in Florida this week.
.“He’s ready to hit the trail, and I’m ready to work with him,” Graham said.
“We need to unite the party."
Graham further said, “Donald Trump is the most vibrant member of the Republican Party. The Trump movement is alive and well.
“People believe that he brought change to Washington, policy wise, that was long overdue.
"The most potent force in the Republican Party is President Trump.”
