Students can advance despite school closings

Lexington  County school closings may last longer than this month.

The Department of Education has released its academic plan for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

The federal government has waived requirements for testing this spring.

Teachers continue to work with students through packets and online learning to complete this semester.

Students will receive credit for their courses if they complete all requirements.

High school seniors can earn course credits to be ready for college.
