The swimming advisory has been lifted for the section of the Lower Saluda and Congaree Rivers from the Lower Landing at Saluda Shoals Park to the Blossom Street Bridge.

Swim advisory lifted

The swimming advisory has been lifted for the section of the Lower Saluda and Congaree Rivers from the Lower Landing at Saluda Shoals Park to the Blossom Street Bridge.
4 of the Midlands Rivers Coalition water quality samples collected Wednesday came back above the standard for swimming.
Follow-up sampling conducted July 25 show the bacteria levels are back within safe ranges.
