Swimming advisory lifted

The swimming advisory issued for the Lower Saluda River on August 29 is no longer in effect.
The Midlands Rivers Coalition follow-up water quality samples collected on Thursday, August 29 at the 5 sites that had shown elevated bacteria levels all met the state standard for swimming.
