Posted

Lexington County residents headed to the polls yesterday.

10 municipalities held general elections for town or city council and mayor.

Irmo residents voted on a 3-question referendum. That includes parts of Richland County.

Pelion had 2 open town council seats. Since no one filed to run, the write-in candidates with the most votes will fill those seats.

Official results are expected by Friday.
