W. Columbia Parade of Lights canceled

Posted

Poor weather has once again derailed the The Greater Cayce – West Columbia Chamber of Commerce 2018 Holiday Parade of Lights.

The parade was originally planned for Dec. 8, but was rescheduled for Dec. 15 due to bad weather.

It has now been canceled altogether.

Due to weather conditions that will continue into Saturday, the GCWC Chamber decided to cancel due to lack of time to set up the operational aspects of the Holiday Parade of Lights.

The Chamber made its decision after consulting with Cayce Public Safety, West Columbia Police Department and the insurance carrier for the Holiday Parade of Lights.

Lexington County, cayce-west columbia parade of lights
