More than 1,000 athletes competed in the Area Seven Special Olympics games at White Knoll High School, Friday.

All five of the school districts of Lexington County were on hand for the games.

White Knoll HS hosts Special Olympics

More than 1,000 athletes competed in the Area Seven Special Olympics games at White Knoll High School, Friday.

All five of the school districts of Lexington County were on hand for the games.

Parents, teachers, volunteer helpers and supporters flooded the athletic fields for the games after the opening ceremonies.

AHS student Maddie Haig recited the Special Olympics motto: “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
