A new state 10K record was set at this year's Race Against Hunger.
Zander Jeffcoat of Gilbert broke the state record for the 10K Men’s age group 16-17 year olds.
He finishied in 32 minutes and 17 seconds.
3 other runners won Mission Lexington’s race March 14 at Lexington High School.
• 5K Male Overall Winner: Steven Ellisor
• 5K Female Overall Winner: Kendra Miles
• 10K Female Overall Winner: Angie Blight
More than 440 runners helped raise more than $25,000 for Mission Lexington’s food pantry.
“This is our biggest fundraiser and we are ecstatic at the amount raised thanks to the runners and our incredible sponsors,” said Mission Lexington Executive Director Robin Bowers.
A full list of award results can be found at www.lrah.org. All funds raised at this event directly benefit Mission Lexington’s food pantry.
