The 7th annual Midlands Gives is planned Tuesday, May 5, 6 am - 11:59 pm. 
408 local nonprofits are participating. online only during the covid-19 pandemic.
Since 2014, Midlands Gives has raised $9.3 million for hundreds of local nonprofits.
Local nonprofits are struggling financially due to the impact of covid-19. 
What you can do is:
1. Bookmark the virtual giving platform for giving on May 5 (or giving starting today, for you early birds). Donations made today forward will count in the leaderboard totals.
2. Add multiple organizations to your online shopping cart. You can donate sums of your choice starting at only $10.
3. Create a Champion Page. These allow donors to fundraise for specific nonprofits. You might set one up to ask for donations instead of presents for your birthday or a company to project.
4. Use MidlandsGives.org year-round. The platform will reopen for year-round giving on Wednesday, May 13.
