Hollow Creek Community Club members learned how to save money by using less electrical power at their April club meeting. A representative from Mid-Carolina Electric Cooperative presented the program on Home Energy Savings to the members. The club also planned for its 60th anniversary dinner to be held May 10 at their facility.

Last year the club donated money towards the medical costs of baby Camden Bechtel, who was born with medical issues. The members were excited to hear that she just celebrated her first birthday and enjoyed her party.

Club members with birthdays in April are Darren Nelson, Sawyer Koon, Rebekah Tinman, Jimmy Smith, and Craig Finley. Anniversary wishes go to Margie and Frank Whittle and Deborah and Robert Sox.
