What’s your purpose in life?
Good Friday morning. my friends.
Writer Dean Koontz’s wife Gerda challenged him:
She would work and support him for 5 years.
If he didn’t make it as a writer, he would get a job.
Now she handles his professional writing business.
30 of his books have been No. 1 best sellers.
I tell you this because he knows why he writes.
“I write to entertain. In a world that encompasses
so much pain and fear and cruelty, it is noble to provide
a few hours of escape, of delight and forgetfulness.”
As a journalist I write for different reasons:
To keep my readers and community informed.
There are a lot of dangers out there.
I want them to be aware to protect themselves.
I also write to entertain them with stories
about interesting people and what they do.
That’s one of my major purposes in life,
Like Dean, I hope you have found your purpose.
If not, I have a book full of ideas to help you.
It’s title: “Your Life’s Great Purpose.”
It shows how to get more from life in 8 keys areas:
A $20 autographed copy is available for $9.99.
That’s this week only. Call 803-331-6695 for one.
Please write and let me know what you think.
