Wednesday marked the 1st day for national signings this fall. A bevy of Chronicle Country athletes in sports ranging from baseball to tennis signed their respective letters of intent:

AIRPORT - Cam Beckham (baseball - Francis Marion) and Parker Whittle (baseball - Winthrop)

LEXINGTON - Braisan Bourne (baseball - Clemson), David Cromer (baseball - South Carolina) and Elijah Ogden (baseball - Florence/Darlington Tech)

RIVER BLUFF - Katie Richardson (volleyball - Penn State/Harrisburg), Katie Horan (swimming - University of Tampa), Jesse Hollins (tennis - Coastal Carolina), Cam Ferrell (baseball - Newberry), Ricky Williams (baseball - Clemson) and Alex Urban (baseball - Clemson)

WHITE KNOLL - Shelby Davis (softball - Lander) and Jayana Knotts (wrestling - Limestone)

More signings will take place tomorrow at Gilbert (Travis Elliott) and Friday at Lexington (Allie Light and Skyler Logsdon).
