Latavian Lawrence is Gray Collegiate's 4th straight Class 2A Player of the Year

Gray Collegiate's run of success in boys' basketball is not just limited to the hardwood.
For the 4th consecutive year, a War Eagles was selected as a S.C. Basketball Coaches Association's Player of the Year. 
Forward Latavian Lawrence earned the honor in Class 2A this year. He followed in the footsteps of Jalek Felton, Juwan Gray and last year's winner Tommy Bruner. 
In addition, teammate Tauris Watson joined him on the All-State Class 2A boys team. 
Also making the All-State teams from Chronicle Country were guard Cameron Scott of Lexington and Region 5-5A Player of the Year Myles Jenkins of River Bluff in Class 5A boys and guard Alexis Sexton of Lexington, Region 5-5A Player of the Year Japonica Wilson of River Bluff and guard Ehrial Wagstaff of Irmo in Class 5A girls.
