Blowfish to hold Media Celebrity Boiled Peanut eating contest
Local personalities competing for "Golden Peanut".
More than boiled peanuts will be sold by the Lexington County Blowfish during the 150th S.C. State Fair this year.
On Monday, a 1st ever Media Celebrities Boiled Peanuts Eating Contst will take place at the Pepsi State.
WISTV Sports Anchor Rick Henry,Tyler Ryan of WOLO, “Mr. Knozit” Joe Pinner and WCOS Radio Personality Jonathan Rush will vy for the coveted “Golden Peanut” trophy.
The Blowfish will have a Boiled Peanuts Stand in Heritage Village at the Fair. The team is selling boiled peanuts provided by Rawl Farms of Lexington County.
