Dutch Fork extends undefeated streak to 29 following 50-6 rout.

Plenty has changed in the 3 years since Dutch Fork and Boiling Springs met for the Class 5A championship at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The Silver Foxes have won 2 more titles and posted a 28-1-1 record since that 28-21 win. Things have gone in the opposite direction for the Bulldogs, who have competed in just 1 playoff game and entered Saturday’s contest in Irmo with a 12-11 mark during that span.

The latest meeting betwen the 2 teams saw that trend continue. Dutch Fork rolled to a 50-6 win to extend its undefeated streak to 29 games and 17 straight at home.

Ty Olenchuk threw for 232 yards and 3 TDs and Jonathan Hall rushed for 3 scores and 81 yards in the win. Elijah Spencer had 5 receptions for 101 yards and 2 TDs, and fellow wideout Jalin Hyatt had 89 receiving yards on 2 catches.

Defensively, Dutch Fork held Boiling Springs to 86 total yards and did not allow a score until 34 seconds left in the game.

The Silver Foxes (3-0-1) will look to extend their 19-game road winning streak next week at Blythewood. Meanwhile, Boiling Springs (1-2) will try to extend the winning streak of teams the week after facing Dutch Fork to 12 at home against Riverside.
