Add another early Christmas gift for the Dutch Fork football team.

Having made the case as one of the best high school football teams ever, the Silver Foxes finished ranked among the best 10 prep teams in the country in 2018.

The final USA Today High School Sports Super Expert Top 25 rankings saw Dutch Fork move up a notch to 9th. It was the lone Palmetto State and Southeastern team ranked in the Top 25.

Manter Del (Santa Ana, Calif.) placed first in the final rankings.

The Silver Foxes also placed 2nd in the Southeast rankings behind IMG Academy out of Bradenton, Fla. Class 5A runner-up T.L. Hanna placed 6th.
