A decision on how the S.C. High School League will handle the postponed Week 4 football contests is expected on Tuesday.
An 8:30 a.m. conference call is scheduled to discuss the matter. Among the options are to extend the season one week in response to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.
If the season is not extended, teams will still have the option to make up the Week 4 contests. Only two Chronicle Country schools have rescheduled its contests
Gray Collegiate at White Knoll 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Monday's game between Pelion and C.A. Johnson was cancelled.
Meanwhile, SCISA athletics director Michael Fanning said it plans to stick with the current schedule without extending the regular season. Teams will have the option to make up the Week 4 contests, but the final record regardless will be used to determine playoff seedings.
W.W. King Academy played its Week 4 contest Thursday, a 36-0 loss at Laurens Academy. Northside Christian Academy cancelled its home contest against Thomas Sumter.
