The 2019 home opener in The Swamp was a overwhelming success for River Bluff.
Led by 3 touchdown runs by Braden Walker and 2 by Riley Myers, the Gators routed Richland Northeast 55-6 to improve to 2-0 on the season. 
Quarterback Jackson Stone also rushed and passed for a touchdown. 
For the second straight game, Preston Sansone had a defensive touchdown. Against the Cavaliers, he recovered a fumble and scored from 3 yards. 
The defense also collected 3 sacks and forced 2 turnovers. River Bluff plays host to Pelion next week.


Dutch Fork 46, Spring Valley 0 
After having its 26-game winning streak end on a tie last week, Dutch Fork extended its road-winning streak Friday night at Harry Parone Stadium.
The Silver Foxes dominated Spring Valley behind 4 touchdown runs by John Hall. Quarterback Ty Olenchuk threw for 212 yards, including a 65-yard touchdown pass to Jalin Hyatt. 
Defensively, Dutch Fork held the Vikings to -10 rushing yards and 77 passing yards. This was the 20th consecutive victory away from Irmo for the Silver Foxes dating back to October 2015 and their 27th straight game without a loss.
Dutch Fork will not travel too far for its next road game, playing at archrival Irmo. 


Lexington 41, Dreher 0
Taylor Mathias rushed for 159 yards and a score and quarterback Elijah Ogden accounted for 166 total yards and 3 touchdowns to lead the Wildcats. 
Brady Bolin added 2 field goals and Coleman Vancoutren had a 68-yard interception return for a touchdown for Lexington (2-0), which travels to Gilbert for the WACH Fox Sonic Friday Night Rivals Game of the Week.


Chapin 35, Mid-Carolina 20
The "Bell" remains in the town of Chapin for another year.
Quarterback Roger Pedroni rushed for 3 touchdowns and threw a 32-yard scoring pass to Bryce Jowers to lead the Eagles to their 7th straight win over the Rebels. 
Chapin (1-0) plays host to Lugoff-Elgin next week. 


White Knoll 56, Colleton County 21
Aveon Smith threw 4 touchdowns and rushed for another and Jujuan John son had a 70-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to lead the Timberwolves. 
Smith was 10-21 passing for 264 yards and rushed for 57 yards. T.J. Peebles rushed for 2 scores and finished with 123 rushing yards and Cam Rogers-Pike had 8 tackles on defense.
The Timberwolves (2-0) play host to W.J. Keenan next week. 


Gray Collegiate 63, Swansea 12
Quarterback Hunter Helms threw for 402 yards and 6 touchdowns and K.Z. Adams returned 2 kickoffs for touchdowns to lead the War Eagles.
Up next for Gray Collegiate (1-1) is a matchup against Dreher at Memorial Stadium in Columbia.
