2019-20 ALL-CHRONICLE COUNTRY BOYS BASKETBALL TEAMS

1ST TEAM - Latavian Lawrence (Gray Collegiate), Myles Jenkins(River Bluff), Dylan Williams (Irmo), Cam Jordan (Lexington) and DiMarco Johnson (Dutch Fork)

PLAYER OF THE YEAR - Tauris Watson (Gray Collegiate) 

The White Knoll transfer made the most of his lone season with the War Eagles. He averaged a team-high 18 points and 6 rebounds per game to go with 3 assists a contest in earning Region 3-2A Player of the Year and All-State honors and leading Gray Collegiate to a 3rd consecutive Class 2A title. 

Co-COACHES OF THE YEAR - Brett Jones (Dutch Fork) and Dion Bethea (Gray Collegiate)

A Lexington High School graduate, Jones led the Silver Foxes to a share of the Region 5-5A title and the Class 5A Lower State title. Dutch Fork finished as state runner-up for the 2nd time in school history and he was chosen to coach in the North-South All-Star Classic.A Mullins native, Bethea led the War Eagles to a 25-6 record and the number 1 ranking in Class 5A. Gray Collegiate won a 4th straight region title, 3rd in Class 3-2A, and finished the season with a 15-game winning streak. 

2ND TEAM - Chase McDuffie (Gray Collegiate), C.J. Washington (Irmo), Jalen Jennings (White Knoll), Adin Daniels (Lexington) and Josh Cranshaw (River Bluff)

COACH - Tim Whipple (Irmo)

3RD TEAM - Jarvis McClurkin and Jarvis Green (both of Dutch Fork), Jaylen Ray (White Knoll), Maddux Harrell (Chapin) and Zaire Rogers (Gray Collegiate)
