For the 2nd time in 3 years, the Lexington High School boys’ basketball team was crowned the Modie Risher Classic champions.
The Wildcats defeated Burke 74-54 for their 8th straight win in the Charleston holiday tournament. Dylan Rivers and Tournament MVP Cam Scott each scored 22 points and Adin Daniels was selected to the All-Tournament team after averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds in 3 games.
Lexington (11-5) will play host to the Showcase at Lexington this Saturday:

W.J. Keenan vs. Cross Creek (Ga.) (boys) 3:30 pm
James F. Byrnes vs. Lexington (boys) 5 pm
James F. Byrnes vs. Lexington (girls) 6:30 pm

The Timberwolves improved to 9-5 following the 3rd place win over the Gamecocks at the Poinsetta Classic in Greenville.
Jaylen Ray and Jalen Jennings were named to the All-Tournament team.
