Both Gray Collegiate boys’ and girls’ basketball teams sit atop the Class 2A rankings. The War Eagles defeated sister school Oceanside Collegiate 75-56 Tuesday to even its mark on the season.

Meanwhile, strong starts have both Lexington teams and Pelion boys cracking their respective Top 10. The 6th-ranked Wildcats are 9-0 entering Saturday’s Auto-Owners Insurance Showcase contest against Dreher and are positioned just in front of Region 5-5A rival River Bluff.
