The River Bluff girls' tennis team advanced to the 3rd round of the Class 5A playoffs with the 6-0 win over the Lady Braves.
It will play host to West Florence on Wednesday.
On the same day, seniors Jesse Hollins and Claire Floyd were selected to play in the North/South All-Star Tennis Classic. It will take place Nov. 15-16 at Myrtle Beach High School.

The Lady Indians improved to 26-3 and advanced to the 3rd round of the Class 3A playoffs and avenged last year’s 2nd round loss to the Lady Bishops.
They will play host Wednesday to May River, which defeated Aynor to advance to the 3rd round for the 1st time in school history.
Gray Collegiate 3, Buford 2
The War Eagles took a 2-set lead, withstood a comeback by the visiting Lady Yellow Jackets to take the 5th set in the 2nd round of the Class 2A playoffs.
The scores were 25-8, 25-11, 18-25, 19-25, 15-11.
Up next is a 3rd round home contest against defending Class 2A champion St. Joseph’s Catholic. The Lady Knights have won 8 consecutive state titles, 5 in Class A and the last 3 in Class 2A.
