New location, All-Midlands’ finals benefit NIKE Palmetto Cup

Gray Collegiate added another trophy to a historic season with a first-ever Region 3-2A title for both teams.

Head girls coach Emily Heise and her husband, Gray Collegiate boys’ coach Kevin Heise, also welcomed a new addition to the family.

Their daughter, McCall Mia Heise, was born on March 28.

On the field, Kevin Heise organized the 26th annual NIKE Palmetto Cup held for the first time at Saluda Shoals Park and coached his Gray Collegiate team.
