Savana Rosson struck out 8 and her 2-run homer in the top 3rd lifted Gilbert to a 3-2 win over Saluda Thursday at home.
The Lady Indians trailed 2-0 when Madison Pride reached 1st, advanced to 3rd on Leah Kearse's double and raced home as the Lady Tigers held the ball. Rosson followed by belting a pitch over the leftfield fence to put Gilbert on top.
Up next for the Lady Indians is a home Region 5-3A matchup Friday against Swansea.
