The undefeated scoring machine known as Dutch Fork football put forth an historic offensive performance Friday night at home.
In rolling past Northwestern 66-28, the Silver Foxes did more than just extend its winning streak to 16 games and increase it margin of victory in four contests this season to 250-35:
- Quarterback Ty Olenchuk threw for a school-record 438 yards, breaking the previous mark by six yards held by current Hammond School head coach Erik Kimrey, and 3 touchdowns.
- Wide receiver Gage Zirke set a school record with 281 receiving yards (the previous mark was 245 yards by Jordan Berry) on 16 catches. He also had 78 return yards to finish with 359 total yards and was also one of six Silver Foxes' wide receivers to score.
- Ron Huff had two of his team's five rushing touchdowns and finished with a team-high 78 rushing yards.
Although the offense allowed a season-high 21 points (the Trojans had a 99-yard interception return for a touchdown by Fentrel Cypress), they collected four sacks and allowed just 48 rushing yards.
Dutch Fork (5-0) opens Region 5-5A play Sept. 28 at home against Chapin.

Spring Valley 21, Lexington 14
Despite 188 rushing yards and a touchdown from sophomore Akeem Nicholas, the Wildcats dropped their second straight contest.
The Vikings (3-1) jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first half. Jordan Hiller scored on a short run with four minutes left in the second quarter to cut the deficit to 14-7.
Spring Valley extended its lead to 21-7 in the third quarter. A touchdown run by Nicholas brought the Wildcats to within a score.
The fourth quarter saw both teams exchange possessions on turnovers and the Vikings run out the remaining 90 seconds.
Lexington (3-2) travels to White Knoll on Sept. 28 to open Region 5-5A play.

Pelion 42, Columbia 20
The Panthers snapped a 7-game losing streak dating back to last season.
