Local Lexington area nonprofit, The UPLIFT Encouragement Group, which provides support networks for people living with chronic illnesses or disabilities, hosted its 3rd Annual Resource Education Day on Saturday, June 7, at First Baptist Church of Lexington.

"This event is an opportunity to showcase local services geared towards those living with chronic illnesses/disabilities. Come enjoy a day of learning about resources available to you, talk with the vendors and gather information," according to the event listing.
