Harbison Theatre at Midlands Tech

7300 College St. harbisontheatre.org. The beautiful theater at the main campus of Midlands Technical College presents concerts from prominent musicians, along with a variety of productions both touring and local.

Irmo International Festival

April TBD. Community Park of Irmo. 7507 Eastview Dr. townofirmosc.com. A celebration of art, culture, food from the various cultures that make up Irmo. Includes performances by musicians, artists and dancers along with art displays and more. International vendors and food trucks also included.

Red White and Blues Wine Walk

May TBD. Irmo Town Park. 1249 Lexington St. greaterirmochamber.com. An evening of wine, food and live music. Enjoy wine tastings and appetizers in the park.

Okra Strut

Sept. 23 and 24. Community Park of Irmo. 7507 Eastview Dr. okrastrut.com. Irmo’s signature annual event is a two-day festival that includes live bands, a parade, arts and crafts, rides and amusements. According to the event website, attendance averages around 25,000 and has climbed as high as 60,000.

Pumpkin Run and Fall Festival

Oct. 22. columbiaymca.org. The NorthWest Family YMCA hosts this annual run (or jog/walk, if you prefer), encouraging participants to participate in costume. Benefit’s the Y’s Annual Campaign.
