A new debris disposal site for wreckage from Hurricane Helene opened on Oct. 7 in Chapin.
The site is loacted at Melvin Park on 370 Eptings Camp Rd. It will be open until Oct. 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Oct. 13 from noon to 7 p.m.
