The high school baseball playoffs may be winding down, but Chronicle Country will still see plenty of All Stars in action next week.

The S.C. Baseball Coaches Association will hold their annual games Tuesday and Wednesday.

The six games will take place at three Lexington County School District 1 schools.

Lexington High School will hold the two North-South Select Games at 2:30 p.m. each day. Senior Wildcats Cole Long and Nathan Hall will play their final high school games for the South team with River Bluff’s Todd Hudson and Zach Cowart, Airport’s Blake Palyok and John Allen Forrester and Brookland-Cayce’s Skylar King.

River Bluff assistant coach Tommy Mishoe will co-coach the team with Bluffton’s Bryant Kitty.

The North-South All-Star Games will take place at River Bluff (Classes 5A/2A/A) and Gilbert (Classes 3A and 4A) high schools at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Peyton Starkey of Gray Collegiate is the lone Chronicle Country player on the North Classes 5A/2A/A team. The South roster has Chapin’s Matthew Lively and Dutch Fork’s Clark Hubbard and Blake Martin.

Silver Foxes head coach Casey Waites will co-lead the team with Branchville’s Sandy Dukes.

Irmo’s Julian Scott will play for the North Classes 3A/4A team against the South with Airport’s Blake Morrison and Brookland-Cayce’s Mason Turner.

Both the loser’s and winner’s games and second Select Game will all take place at Lexington High School starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
