South Carolina is making a record-setting recovery.
Last week’s unemployment claims were lower than the week before, the best of all 50 states. 
Last week’s claims also were lower than in the same week in 2019.
This was the 2nd biggest decrease in the US behind Florida, according to WalletHub’s updated rankings.

• Weekly SC unemployment claims fell 30.42% compared to the same week in 2019. 
• Weekly SC unemployment claims decreased by 80.83% compared to the start of 2020. 
This was the biggest decrease in the US.
Weekly SC unemployment claims dropped 75.71% compared to the same week last year. This was the 10th biggest decrease in the US.
