Thursday — May 12

Whiskey Run (concert)
Nephron Pharmaceuticals and the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 West Main St.) present Whiskey Run, a four-piece country band based in Augusta, Ga., as part of the Town of Lexington’s ongoing free Lexington Live series. SC Poultry Festival
The South Carolina Poultry Festival begins today on Main Street in Batesburg-Leesville, and continues through May 14. The first day of the festival is a one-price admission to the carnival rides and Christian music on the main stage; festivities start at 5 p.m. The festival continues Friday with another night of one-price rides, a golf tournament (starting at 9 a.m.), a cornhole tournament, music from Prettier Than Matt and The Root Doctors and more; the festival gets going at 5 p.m. Saturday features a road race (beginning at 8 a.m.) a volleyball tournament (starting at 9 a.m.), another day of rides (which open at 9 a.m.), a parade (at 10:15 a.m.) and events including a chicken cooking contest, a tractor show at Shealy’s BBQ and a performance by local rising country singer Cody Webb; the night close at 11:30 p.m. after fireworks at 9:15 p.m. Head to scpoultryfestival.com to find out more.

Friday — May 13

Goin’ South: A Tribute To Southern Rock (concert)
If you’re a fan of bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers, The Marshall Tucker Band and .38 Special, you’re likely to enjoy Goin’ South: A Tribute To Southern Rock. They perform at the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $50 for VIP admission. The show benefits the Christopher Conner Foundation which provides music scholarships, financial aid and grants for musicians and their families. Visit icehouseamphitheater.com for more information.

Art on State
Head to the 100 block of State Street in West Columbia for the fifth annual Art on State event (rescheduled from last week due to inclement weather). There will be live music from bands Whiskey Run and Seventy Six and Sunny, live mural art, local food and a variety of arts and crafts vendors from 5:30 to 9:30pm. Art on State is free to attend. Saturday — May 14

Lori Williams (concert)
Jazz/soul singer Lori Williams presents “A Night of Soulful Grooves” at Chayz Lounge (607 Meeting St. ub West Columbia) Williams will perform tunes by The Emotions, Ella Fitzgerald, Stevie Wonder, Al Green and many more. Rhythm on the River (concert)
The West Columbia Riverwalk Park and Amphitheater (109 Alexander Rd.) hosts another entry in the Rhythm On The River Concert Series at 6 p.m. The country-rock group The Kenny George Band will perform with singer/songwriter Danielle Howle, and this concert is a no-alcohol event. Meeting Street Artisan Market
The City of West Columbia’s Meeting Street Artisan Market is open every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Interactive Art Park (425 Meeting St.). Krystal Halverson Duo (concert)

The Market at Icehouse
Head over to the Icehouse Amphitheater (107 W. Main St.) for the first Market at Icehouse event of 2022. The Market is intended as a farmer/grower and local artisan market that uses a community-friendly atmosphere to promote, support and encourage local production, while educating citizens on the benefits of eating local, fresh produce and supporting local artists. Holistic Arts & Healing Festival
Palms to Palmettos (3357 Leaphart Rd. in West Columbia) presents the seventh annual Holistic Arts & Healing Festival. It’s a gathering of artists, crafters, light-workers, energy-workers, readers, massage therapists, reflexologists, shamans, spiritual advisors, herbalists and non-profits in one location. Thursday — May 19

2022 Red White & Blue Wine Walk
Head over to Irmo Town Park (1249 Lexington Ave.) for the 2022 Red White & Blue Wine Walk. It’s an evening of wine, food and live music from Rhythm 54. Friends of the Lexington County Museum Gala
The Friends of the Lexington County Museum invite you to the Lexington Municipal Center (111 Maiden Ln.) to help celebrate the medical history of Lexington County at the Friends of the Lexington County Museum Gala. Guests will be able to learn about hospitals and infirmaries in Lexington County’s past as well as dance to the music of Going Commando. The gala will include a silent auction. Darren Brand (comedy)

Confederate Railroad (concert)
’90s country-rock band Confederate Railroad performs at the Newberry Opera House (1201 McKibben St.) on May 13.
