Central Carolina Community Foundation fundraiser May 4

You can help up to 480 local non-profits Wednesday.
Central Carolina Community Foundation's  8th annual Midlands Gives fundraiser will be 6 am - 11:59 pm at https://www.midlandsgives.org/
Midlands Gives ensures that 480 local non-profits can continue to work in Lexington and 10 other Midlands counties despite the pandemic.
Prizes of more than $155,000 will go to non-profits. 
A full list of participants is available at https://www.midlandsgives.org/.
CCCF plans virtual live updates and interviews with participating nonprofits on Facebook.
Prizes will be awarded during the day including:
• Nephron Pharmaceuticals Elected Officials Challenge — a virtual game of “Scattergories” among elected officials to win $250 for nonprofits of their choosing.
• Dominion Energy Daybreak Prize — 12 nonprofits will be randomly drawn to win $5,000 each.
• Dominion Energy and CCCF’s Give Back by Giving Black Prize — 10 $500 gifts will be awarded to Black-led and Black-benefiting category nonprofits who will be randomly drawn from the nonprofits mentioned in the comments of the Facebook Live video on the Community Foundation’s Facebook page.
• Dominion Energy “Light it up” Trivia — Compete to win prizes for nonprofits by answering questions about the Midlands nonprofits. Winners of the first 2 rounds will award a $500 prize to a nonprofit of their choice. The winner of the 3rd round will award the final, grand prize of $1,000 to a  chosen nonprofit.
• Nephron Pharmaceuticals Match Maker Prize — $1,000 awarded to small, medium and large-budget nonprofit randomly drawn from organizations who meet or exceed their match by 10:30 pm.
• Aflac Power Hours — $2,000 will be added to small, medium and large budget-nonprofits that have the most unique donors.
• May 5 AAPC Matching Gift Challenge — The African American Philanthropy Committee will award $5,000 in matching gifts. The funds of up to 10 Black-led, Black-benefiting nonprofits will be matched up to $500. All BLBB nonprofits who reach the $500 threshold will be eligible.
