David Mahaffey

11/05/1959-10/21/2023 

David Mahaffey passed away on 10/21/2023 at Lexington Medical Center after a brief illness. He was a skilled carpenter and a man of all trades. He was a member of the West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene. David is preceded in death by Ivy Wayne Mahaffey (father), Janie Margaret Cravener (mother) and William C Cravener (a great stepfather).

Surviving are his son David B Mahaffey, II, daughter Crystal Gleaton, brother Michael Mahaffey, sister Cyndi Mahaffey, all of Lexington; Uncle Norman B. Mahaffey (Marie) of West Columbia; Aunt Jo McNeill of Columbia; three granddaughters Kelcie, Cierra and Emma Gleaton of West Columbia; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Once arrangements have been made, family and friends will be notified. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the West Columbia First Church of the Nazarene or the Cancer Society.
