Four people have been arrested after a December shooting in Cayce that has been deemed to be gang-related.

On Jan. 10, the Cayce Police Department announced four arrests involved in a Dec. 11 homicide at Abbott Arms Apartment, located at 2011 Wilkinson St., that left one person, 19-year-old Travis Antwan Fuller Jr., dead and another injured.

Joshua Sanchez, 18, and a 17-year old, whose name is not released due to them being underage, were arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery. Sanchez was additionally charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Idrees Xavier Scott and Jasmine Kiara Golson, both 24, have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery and accessory to murder after the fact.

Sanchez, Scott and Golson remain in the Lexington County Detention Center following their arrest, bond having been denied.

According to a previously provided incident report, officers who arrived on scene were met with multiple witnesses stating that they heard two men arguing before hearing a large number of shots. A dark-colored vehicle was spotted leaving the scene of the shooting at high speeds.

While on scene, an officer began to look for evidence, finding multiple shell casings along with an SUV that sustained a damaged window from gunfire, the report states.

According to the release, through investigators conducting interviews, processing evidence, conducting search warrants and following leads it was determined that the shooting was the result of a robbery. The release adds that it was planned and orchestrated by Sanchez, Golson, Scott, and the 17-year old.

The release states that the 17-year old “suffered a gunshot wound to the chest, was hospitalized for an extended period, and then released from the hospital to recover from his injuries at home,” adding that “it was later determined that this shooting was connected to the planned robbery and that this Juvenile was actually involved in the robbery; being shot while the robbery took place.”

“We suspect that the three males and one female planned to rob Fuller of his money and drugs,” the release said.

The Jan. 10 release adds that Fuller was driven to Lexington Medical by a 15-year old. After his arrival, Lexington Medical Center reached out to police, with the officers who responded finding a blue Chevrolet Camaro with blood in the passenger area.

Inside the vehicle, investigators found a 9mm handgun, shell casings and narcotics.

Upon further investigation, patrol officers stopped a black pick-up that reportedly left the apartment complex and returned later. This led to the arrest of additional suspects London Spires, 19, Davion Carson, 19, and another 17-year-old, who were all charged with possession with intent to distribute narcotics and unlawful carry of a firearm.
