Free covid-19 tests will be available at Batesburg-Leesville Elementary School Tuesday, June 23 10 am - 3 pm.
The testing is being done by Lexington Medical Center and the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control at the request of Sen. Katrina Shealy,
The school is at 403 S. Lee Street in Batesburg-Leesville.
You do not need to have symptoms. No appointments are necessary.
Clinicians will administer the tests in a drive-thru format.
You do not need to get out of your car.
A clinician will place a special 6-inch cotton swab in both sides of your nose and rotate it for about 15 seconds.
Lexington Medical Center held free tests earlier this month at White Knoll High School and Brookland Baptist Church.
More than 1,250 people received tests.
