The charges keep piling up on a Lexington County man.
Two days after being arrested after a high-speed chase through 2 SC counties, Pelion police say LaGeorge Raul Jackson, 30, robbed a Dollar General store there on Jan. 11.
Police announced Monday afternoon that arrest warrants were issued for Jackson for Common Law Robbery and Assault and Battery 1st Degree.
He was arrested in Chester County Saturday after leading law enforcement on a chase reaching speeds exceeding 100 mph before crashing.
He is also suspected of 2 armed robberies and a carjacking.
In the Dollar General robbery in Pelion, a clerk sustained minor injuries. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a camo stocking cap, camo face mask, blue jacket and blue jeans. The suspect fled the scene in a white Honda Accord. Information from witnesses along with vehicle tag information led to arrest warrants being obtained for Jackson.
On Saturday, Jackson was being chased through Chester, along Highway 321, and turned onto Hardin Strait Road before losing control, crashing into a tree and flipping over.
He was transported to Piedmont Medical Center with minor injuries.
Jackson is suspected of armed robberies in Elgin and Aiken where the car he was driving was used as the getaway vehicle. Jackson is also suspected of a carjacking in Columbia.
Deputies say the chase began on SC 9 west and went into Union County before going back to Chester County.
Deputies say he exceeded speeds of 100 miles per hour.
As the chase continued through the City of Chester, the vehicle traveled down SC 97 and turned onto Hardin Strait Road. Jackson lost control of the vehicle, ran off the road, hit a tree and flipped over.
Jackson was charged with driving under suspension, driving under the influence, failure to stop for a blue light and possession of a stolen vehicle.
No law enforcement officers were injured.
