For the first time in 15 years, Allen University played a college football game.
It made itself at home at the locale of a fellow Yellow Jacket - Irmo High School. Over 500 fans werer in attendance at W.C. Hawkins Stadium to watch Allen face Columbus State University.
The Yellow Jackets led 24-0 at halftime and went on to win 47-3. They play host to Livingstone College on Sept. 8 at W.C. Hawkins Stadium.
