Zackary Ryan Rose, 30, of Lexington, has been positively identified by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher as the individual who died in a vehicle versus pedestrian accident on April 30.

This accident occurred in the 2800 block of Augusta Road in the West Columbia area.

According to the press release, Rose was crossing Augusta Road when he was hit by a vehicle traveling westbound.

Rose was pronounced dead on the scene due to his substantial injuries.

The driver was not injured and remained on the scene. The West Columbia Police Department and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office will continue to investigate the incident.
