Nathan Scott Ash, 20, of Pelion was identified as the person who died in a motorcycle-versus-vehicle accident on Feb. 4.

The accident occurred in the 1700 block of S. Lake Drive in Lexington after Ash struck a vehicle. According to a press release, Ash was traveling eastbound at the time of the accident.

Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher reported Ash was not wearing a helmet and was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
