1 dead from Sept. 13 West Columbia fire

A woman has been identified after she was found dead in a West Columbia home that caught fire. Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher said Lila Ann Gunter, 65, of West Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the West Columbia Police Department, officers and firefighters went to the property, located on the 1600 block of B Ave. at 3:54 a.m. on Sept. 13. The West Columbia Police Department, SLED and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office are investigating.
