Deandre Ramone Dreher, 28, of Chapin, has been identified by Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher as the man who died in a single-vehicle accident on March 7. 

The accident happened in the Chapin area of Lexington County on Westwoods Drive at about 2:20 a.m., according to a release from the coroner. 

Dreher was driving west on Westwoods Drive when he left the right side of the road and hit a tree, according to the coroner. 

"Mr. Dreher, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene," Fisher said. "A passenger in the vehicle was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries. "

The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol are investigating.
