The fall playoff season is here and athletes from all around Lexington County are putting up big performances and helping their teams make a run for a state championship.
This week’s male and female Athlete of the Week winners filled the stat sheet and led their team to victory in important games.

Dutch Fork’s Ethan Offing helped his team win the 5A Region 4 championship and enter the postseason undefeated with his performance last week.
The junior recorded 184 total yards of offense and scored two touchdowns to help the Silver Foxes knock off crosstown rival Irmo. Offing had a rushing and passing touchdown in the game.
His play helped Dutch Fork go undefeated during the regular season. Offing recorded over 2,000 yards passing this season and threw 18 touchdowns. He also has the ability to extend plays with his legs and scored five touchdowns on the ground.
Dutch Fork earned a first-round bye in the playoffs, giving the team time to rest before attempting a run at another state title. Offing will need to continue making smart decisions and lead the team, if they want to win a championship.
River Bluff volleyball star Alexis Jodie helped her team advance in the playoffs last week.
The Gators defeated Byrnes to move to the next round of the 5A Division I bracket. Jodie had a strong outing, recording 35 assists in just three sets. It was her second time this season going for at least 35 assists.
River Bluffs season came to an end in the third round of the playoffs with a loss to Lexington. The Gators ended the season 9-3 with all three losses coming against Lexington.
Jodie concluded her junior campaign with over 750 assists and a career-high 48 aces. Jodie was also named 5A All-State.
