Posted

Halloween is the one night of the year where neighborhoods become playgrounds, a parking lot becomes a festival and every child’s imagination gets to lead the way. This week, I have information on several upcoming Halloween trunk-or-treat events in our community that everyone can enjoy.

The town of Gilbert’s second annual scarecrow decorating contest is now underway. The contest began on Oct. 4 and will end on Halloween, Oct. 31. This week, judging of the contest will be held from Oct. 19-23. The contest is open to all businesses, schools, churches/youth groups, community groups, clubs, local organizations and residents in the town of Gilbert. Do take time to view these scarecrow creations when you drive through Gilbert.
