Dezyah Dewitt, a third-grader at Cayce Elementary School, won the 13th Annual Future Chefs Challenge in Lexington County School District Two.

The panel of judges picked Dezyah’s cheeseburger cupcakes as their favorite, which went up against finalists in third, fourth and fifth grade in six elementary schools across the district.

This competition took place at the Lexington Two Innovation Center where families and attendees were able to enjoy the foods. 

She will represent Lexington Two at the statewide competition.
