The Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center’s Nonprofit Council will host an educational seminar focused on helping area nonprofit organizations expand their fundraising capacity through strategic donor engagement.
The seminar, titled "Growing Your Fundraising through Donor Engagement," will take place on Monday, Aug. 17, at the Lexington Chamber & Visitors Center, 311 W. Main St.
Registration and networking begin at 11:30 a.m., with the presentation following promptly at noon.
During the session, attendees will discover actionable methods to inspire, attract, and build lasting relationships with donors.
"Nonprofit staff and board members who participate will walk away with practical, proven strategies to build authentic connections with their supporters," said Angelle LaBorde, president and CEO of the Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center. "Strong donor engagement is essential for sustainable growth, and this session will equip our local leaders with the exact tools needed to elevate their fundraising efforts and maximize community impact."
The featured presenter is Melissa DeClue, a certified fundraising executive and specialist in donor relations and engagement strategies. As the founder and CEO of Amplify Missions, DeClue partners with nonprofit leaders to coach and empower them to amplify their mission through transformative, community-centric donor experiences.
