Lexington mom earns spot on 40 under 40 on son’s birthday

Posted

July 24 was an extra special day for Lexington mom Danielle “Dani” Peeler. While celebrating her son Trace’s first birthday, Peeler was recognized for her service and professional influence in the Midlands community. Earning a spot on the “40 under 40” is meant to recognize local emerging leaders who make significant contributions to both their industries and communities.

By professional trade, Peeler is a research and marketing coordinator for the South Carolina Automobile Dealers Association. For the past five years, she has served SCADA in the marketing, legislative and public relations arenas. She played a role in securing Act 31 of 2021 and Acts 51 and 45 of 2023, contributing throughout the full legislative process.

While the title of “mom” is an honorable and meaningful title, Peeler also makes great strides within the community.

She currently holds the title of vice president of the Community Council of the Junior League of Columbia, where she was honored with the 2023–24 Transfer of the Year award. She also dedicated a great deal of time to volunteer work with Sistercare, the Congregational Care Ministry Team at her church Mt. Horeb and her neighborhood’s HOA social committee.

Peeler is married to Robert Peeler Jr. and has created a close-knit and loving family for their son, Trace. While celebrating Trace’s first birthday with friends and family, loved ones gathered around Danielle to honor her.

“I’m not sure Danielle sleeps much at night,” joked her father-in-law, Bob Peeler. “Between late-night feedings and helping people in her community, she’s truly something special.”
